About the Opportunity

Block Busters and Partners is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Johannesburg team.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience working closely with leadership, exposure to business operations, and the opportunity to grow into a more senior role over time.

You will report directly to the CTO, offering valuable insight into how a growing business operates.

Role Overview

In this role, you will support daily operations, help manage administrative workflows, and contribute to keeping the office organized and efficient. This is a great opportunity to build real-world experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence professionally
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Assist with meeting coordination and basic reporting
  • Support leadership with administrative and operational tasks

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Reliable and able to take initiative
  • Professional in communication and presentation
  • Comfortable working with computers and admin systems
  • Eager to learn and grow within a business environment

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic administrative or office experience (preferred)
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office or similar)
  • Good communication and phone etiquette
  • Ability to manage time and tasks effectively
  • Multilingual is an advantage
  • Relevant qualification is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Growth

💰 Salary starts in line with the South African National Minimum Wage (fully compliant with labour regulations).

This is an entry-level growth role, with earning potential of up to R7,000 per month based on performance, reliability, and increased responsibility.

Performance and salary reviews will take place during the probation period, with clear opportunities for progression within the company.
