Why does the job exist?
Under minimal supervision, this person offers administrative support services to the Facility Director of Los Lunas Community Program. Position requires independent judgment and initiative on assignments that are time sensitive. May perform special assignments such as researching information, compiling reports, and preparing presentations. Ability to manage multiple assignments and set priorities. Requires a results-driven achiever with excellent organizations skills. This position requires a reliable, stable individual proficient in MS Office with excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing.
How does it get done?
This position is completed by assisting the Facility Director of Los Lunas Community Program with special projects, managing personal and organizational calendars, scheduling meetings, researching, writing e-mails, writing and compiling reports, creating presentations, creating and managing spreadsheets, managing and responding to calls, assist with managing and leading employee recognition program, assist with managing Risk Management related projects, assist with managing the LLCP cemetery, function as liaison for facility staff in regards to MS Office an other technology applications, provide support to other LLCP Directors in staff absences or shortages, and manage Facility related activities to: lessors, safety, vendors and leases.

This position provides customer service to all internal and external customers who support the Individuals Served at LLCP, this includes but is not limited to the following: all staff members, individuals served, team members.

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years work experience in office administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive a Defensive Driving Course Certificate as a condition of continued employment within 45 days of employment. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and is conditional pending results. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Working Conditions
Computer use, long periods of sitting. Some travel may be required. May require overtime at times.
