Role Description This full-time on-site Administrative Assistant role is based in Voat Phnum and supports the daily operations of RiverLight. The Administrative Assistant will manage front-desk activities, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, organizing files (both physical and digital), and preparing basic reports and documents. The role also involves supporting program logistics such as coordinating appointments between youth volunteers and older adult participants, tracking attendance, and updating databases. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with leadership and program staff to ensure smooth office operations, timely communication, and a welcoming environment for community members and partners.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and clerical skills, including Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, with the ability to manage records, scheduling, and office organization.
- Professional communication capabilities, including clear written and verbal Communication and courteous Phone Etiquette for interacting with diverse community members and stakeholders.
- Experience providing Executive Administrative Assistance or similar support to managers or leaders, including calendar management and document preparation.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and comfort learning new digital tools and systems.
- High attention to detail, reliability in handling confidential information, and strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Voat Phnum, collaborate with a small team, and interact respectfully with people of different ages and backgrounds.
- Prior experience in a nonprofit, community service, or education-focused environment is beneficial but not required.
