Role Description This full-time hybrid Administrative Assistant role is based in Frankfort, KY, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Administrative Assistant will provide daily support to leadership and staff, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing routine correspondence and reports. Responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, maintaining office supplies, and handling mail and basic recordkeeping. The role may support executive staff with meeting preparation, travel coordination, and follow-up documentation. The Administrative Assistant will also assist with data entry, basic financial or grant-related documentation, and coordination of events or community meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and clerical skills, including Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Professional communication abilities, including clear written and verbal Communication and courteous Phone Etiquette.
- Experience providing Executive Administrative Assistance or similar support to leadership or management is preferred.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and comfort learning new digital tools.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a reliable, service-oriented approach to supporting team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Frankfort, KY on a regular basis, with the discipline to work independently from home when needed.
- Prior experience in an office, nonprofit, government, or community development environment is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or a degree in business, administration, or a related field is beneficial.
