About This Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Operations Specialist who is responsible for providing a broad range of services for our Programs West Business Unit. This includes ongoing operational, administrative, strategic, and logistical tasks and projects, including developing meeting materials and presentations, conducting research and analysis, and tracking and reporting on a variety of business initiatives and deliverables. At times the Operations Specialist represents the Business Unit Director, acting as a liaison between the Director and employees, vendors, and clients.

What You Will Be Doing:
Creation and ongoing management of departmental scorecards and other methods for measuring the effectiveness of Cascade’s Programs West Business Unit including use of program-specific software programs (SharePoint, Ajera, PowerBI, Gazebo, etc.) to support team tracking and reporting needs
Act as accountability manager for the business unit, ensuring all teams are aware of latest resources and following best practices, with a special focus on supporting new program startups
Completes projects and special assignments related to department operations
Understanding and training staff on processing deemed measures for energy efficiency claims and incentive payments
Master California PUC’s Cost Effectiveness Tool (CET)
Act as program start-up deliverables coordinator and process expert
Contribute to business development activities
Maintain SharePoint Online communication and team sites
Perform high-level administrative work in support of the department initiatives, through research, analysis, writing, information coordination, relationship management, and project management
Facilitate communications by overseeing the coordination and planning of meetings, events, webinars, conference calls, email messaging, etc.
Provide training and mentorship to Program Specialists and other program staff as needed
Assist program managers and specialists with high level project and program support.
Ensure and audit accurate department-related data entry and file management across multiple systems
Prepare routine reports for both internal and external customers.
Serve as a proxy for the Business Unit Director to spearhead initiatives and communications, and gather feedback
Responds to frequent requests for information
This is a full-time, exempt position located in Pacific Time Zone. This position is remote/hybrid if you reside near a Cascade office. Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.
Qualifications
Applicants for this role are required to have:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, (or significant course work completed), with preference given for Business Administration, Project Management, or similar area of study
4+ years’ experience in a progressively developing role supporting internal and external customers
Previous experience with continuous improvement programs highly desired
A successful candidate should also demonstrate these preferred characteristics and/or skills:
Experience in the Energy Industry
Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. The salary range for this position as a remote role, is a national average of $70,400 – $88,000 and final salary will be determined on geographical location of final candidate. However, final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experiences.
