About the Role:

As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll be right at the heart of our operation reporting to the Manager of Administration and supporting multiple internal teams. You’ll be the friendly voice on the phone, the master organizer, and the go-to problem solver. Therefore, this role will include some cross-training in sales, partner relations, accounting, and other areas as needed. Potential growth paths include higher administrative duties, B2C Sales, B2B Partner Management, or other roles needed within the company where your skills will be best utilized.

Over the course of a typical working day in this role, you may call a client to follow-up with their grant application documents, update Salesforce to add a new partner’s name to existing systems, provide your feedback in a meeting with NCLab coaches, scaffold an information packet for how NCLab assesses our clients to present to a fellow workforce development organization, and more.

What You’ll Do:

Chat with prospective clients, schedule appointments, and make sure everyone’s on the same page.

Keep our internal systems (Salesforce, etc.) running smoothly, creating reports and updating info, including providing your thoughts at company meetings.

Help out with grant applications and other important paperwork, including managing ETPL (Eligible Training Provider List) listings for NCLab products.

Be the wizard behind the curtain, creating templates and documents to keep everything running like clockwork.

Review NCLab Career Readiness Assessment results and explain the assessment process to external partners

Collaborate with our teams and external partners to make sure they have everything they need to succeed.

Champion marketing efforts at NCLab including developing designs and captions for social media posting, email newsletters, and other forms of media such as video creating and editing

Nevada candidates: Attend in-person meetings or events on occasion such as employer roundtables, workforce development meetings, career fairs, and other such events.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s Degree recommended, additional experience can substitute for education.

2+ years experience in an administrative role.

1+ years experience working remotely.

A knack for communication – whether it’s on the phone, over email, or in a virtual meeting.
