We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support to the ZERO Leadership Team, working closely with the Executive Assistant to support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of leadership activities.
The role supports schedules, meetings, documentation, communication, and logistics, and acts as a reliable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
ZERO is Australia’s flagship paediatric precision medicine program transforming cancer care for children and young people. As The ZERO Laboratory and Quality Coordinator this role provides essential administrative and operational support for ZERO Diagnostics, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of both quality systems and laboratory operations, contributing to the timely delivery of precision oncology diagnostics for children and young people with cancer.
To succeed you will have…
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role.
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to teams or senior staff.
- Proven experience coordinating meetings, travel, events, and administrative processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience working in a research, medical, healthcare, or not‑for‑profit environment would be highly desirable
