Position Overview:
The HR Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the People Development department, assisting with various functions including recruitment, interview scheduling, employee relations, training and development, and employee records management. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. You’ll help ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and contribute to creating a positive work environment for all Chick-fil-A team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Employee Records: Maintain and update employee files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, confidential, and compliant with company policies.
Onboarding Support: Assist in the preparation of new hire documentation, onboarding schedules, and orientation materials to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, and other HR-related events. Help with scheduling interviews and employee training sessions.
Employee Relations: Act as a resource for team members, answering HR-related questions and assisting with various employee matters.
Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining HR-related records in both electronic and physical formats.
Compliance: Assist with ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as Chick-fil-A’s policies and procedures.
Special Projects: Assist with special HR projects as needed, such as employee engagement initiatives and employee recognition events.
Qualifications:
Education: College Degree or HR-related certification.
Experience: Previous experience in HR administration
Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
