Practice Overview

We are a one-of-a-kind, family-owned veterinary hospital. Our practice is built around the client and pet experience, and we have grown faster than any practice in the area. Our flagship location is a brand new, state-of-the-art, 24/7 ER hospital. Our other location is just 1 mile away and provides primary care and integrative medicine services.

What You’ll Be Working On

● Work closely with our Department Managers to assist with their duties

● Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings

● Schedule and maintain calendars

● Prepare all communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, etc.

● Create and maintain a filing system, manage accounts, and perform bookkeeping

● Promote all practice philosophies and protocols

● Excel in presenting the hospital with a proper tour

● Take pride and maintain the cleanliness of hospital as needed

● Ensure the safety of clients, pets, and their colleagues

Qualifications

● High School Diploma or equivalent required

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative assistant role

● Ability to work both day and night shifts

● Must be available to work weekend shifts

● Able to lift up to 50lbs

● Advanced computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Suite

● Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, positive, and supportive demeanor

● Driven with a passion for innovation and taking initiative

● Demonstrated commitment to honesty, integrity and being a great team player

● Ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives

● Excellent skills in prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
