Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Secretarial Science or equivalent education and experience

Excellent communication and keyboarding skills

Demonstrated ability to deal discreetly with sensitive and confidential information and to work independently, making limited decisions based on knowledge of system policies and procedures

Working knowledge of insurance reimbursement

Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding

Working knowledge of credentialing as applied to insurance companies

Working knowledge of insurance reimbursemment

Responsibilities:

Performs diversified administrative duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature according to established standards. Performs independently or with general guidance.
