The Program Administrator 2 plays an integral role in leading the fiscal and administrative aspects of Board operations. The job duties of the Program Administrator 2 will include the following:
Serving as office manager and working with the Executive Director and Investigations Supervisor to respond to programmatic issues/needs.
Acting as corresponding assistant to board members.
Reviewing and summarizing fiscal, operational and/or personnel reports.
Attending meetings related to OhioBuys, eLicense steering committee & other online administrative functions.
Assuming responsibility and authority in Executive Director’s absence.
Managing office and auxiliary functions including maintenance, security, public information, personnel.
Analyzing and implementing program policy.
Attending all board meetings.
Managing business functions of the office.
Preparing and administering the board budget.
Establishing and overseeing maintenance of fiscal controls.
Authorizing expenditures and purchases.
Analyzing and evaluating programs, procedures, and policies.
Providing technical advice to aid staff in decision making.
Preparing and/or reviewing office documents.
Performing administrative tasks including preparing confidential correspondence and/or reports, maintaining confidential files.
Preparing and submitting travel authorizations for the Executive Director and board members.
Handling sensitive phone calls and channeling calls to appropriate parties for response.
Directing operation of board information systems.
Maintaining content of board web site.
Attending meetings related to state information systems.

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative and/or managerial position.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative and/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research and/or policy/procedure development.
Or 4 years training or 4 years experience in business administration management science or public administration.
Or 1 year experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above

Unless required by legislation or union contract, salary will be set at the lowest rate of the salary range with gradual increases in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code or OCSEA/AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
