Job Summary
The Service Center Administrator is responsible for administering and managing related systems and internal resources that support the Human Resources Service Center. This position will serve as a subject matter expert on various HR Topics, policies, programs, and processes to assist with on-going development and distribution of internal resources. This position will work closely with all areas of HR, staff and faculty, and the Service Center team to support with escalated inquires, resolving issues, and interpreting policies. The position will also be responsible for reporting, analyzing data, and tracking trends from HR Service Center programs to support decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and improve HR Service Center programs. Pull reporting and analyze data to track trends and make recommendations. Monitor HRSC ticketing system to support daily operations. Review HR Chat Bot for accuracy and support development of the Chat Bot knowledge base.
Develop internal resources and training for the HR Service Center and other areas within HR. Maintain internal resources to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Provide support to the Service Center and other HR teams on escalated inquires, resolving issues, and interpreting policies. Partner with HR teams to record and communicate benefit process for certain circumstances.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Three or more years of HR experience with experience in benefit systems, processes, and operations
Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of required education and related work experience
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills along with the ability to identify solutions for a variety of benefit systems related issues
Learning orientation to changing technology impacting benefit systems and processes
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills and be effective in presenting to small groups, large groups, and one-on-one
Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and work independently
Ability to interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes
Ability to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needs
Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions
Ability to gather and analyze data to identify trends and propose a course of action based on findings, including identifying project priorities
Personal competencies in integrity, flexibility/adaptability, stress management, judgment/problem solving and drive for results
