We are currently seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant position with highly successful Hedge Fund located in Boston, MA. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing reception, performing calendar management, maintaining office and kitchen inventory, handling expense reporting, and assisting with event coordination.

We are currently seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant position with highly successful Hedge Fund located in Boston, MA. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing reception, performing calendar management, maintaining office and kitchen inventory, handling expense reporting, and assisting with event coordination.
This is a 1-3+ month contract-to-hire position, paying between $28-$33/hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities:
Perform reception responsibilities, including answering phones and welcoming guests
Communicate with building security and pre-clear guests for in-office visits and meetings
Perform calendar management and scheduling (Microsoft Outlook)
Maintain, reserve, and prepare conference rooms for meetings
Oversee and restock kitchen inventory and office supplies
Perform expense reporting (primarily for Investor Relations team)
Assist with coordinating internal events (in-office activities, lunches, events, portfolio meetings, community service, holiday parties, and company outings)
Receive, sort, and distribute mail to appropriate person(s)
Assist team members as needed with making copies, mailings, etc.
Support special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and previous administrative/office coordination experience ideally within professional services
1-3+ years of administrative experience in financial services or professional services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Previous experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook for calendar management preferred
Ability to maintain a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality
