Administrative Assistant – HR Jobs in Mount Pleasant, MI at City of Mt. Pleasant

This is an entry level administrative assistant position. This person will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

The person will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, professional, capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks/projects in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the Chief Operations Officer.• Support teams and departments when directed by the Chief Operations Officer. • Maintain and organize digital and physical records, including vendor agreements/setup, sub-contracts, and project-related documentation.• Utilize and manage CRM software for tracking vendor details, project updates, creating budgets, completing project paperwork, and administrative operations.• Assist with office-related tasks in the Mesa location as needed to ensure smooth operations for the Chief Operations Officer and his team.• Maintain Flexibility in job duties. Being a go getter and willing to learn new job duties as required.• Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge, to be an integral part of the Operation’s Team, etc.• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

➢ Bi-Lingual in Spanish is preferred.➢ Proactive taking initiative when problems or the need arises. ➢ Proficient in Microsoft Office products (excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook).➢ Proficiency or ability to quickly learn different technologies. ➢ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.➢ Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.➢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.➢ Self-motivated, goal oriented.➢ Able to work independently as well as part of a team.➢ Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.➢ Ability and willingness to travel.

Work Environment:

This role will require some periodic travel to train and fill in when needed.The administrative Assistant will work in a dynamic environment that will involve in-office, remote, and travel work.
