Job Description and Duties

The California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant I (AA I) in a high-visibility position at the front desk of the Resources Building. The AA I will represent all CNRA tenants with a high level of professionalism while interacting with contacts at all levels. The AA I will execute administrative services to high-level principals with tact and punctuality. This high-energy, fun position requires outgoing, people-friendly customer service skills. Verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks are a must.

This position is categorized as Office-Based. The position’s job duties are performed at the designated work location in Sacramento 100% of the time.

3.Reinstatement Eligibility– Previously obtained permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable. If in a different classification, you must meet the minimum qualifications (see Minimum Qualifications section and associated links above).
