Program Overview
Electro-mechanical repair and overhaul of mail processing, delivery and bulk processing equipment, including repairing printed circuit boards, electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies to a component level. These services ensure the continued essential automation, mechanization of retail and bulk processing equipment used in mail processing and retail installations across the entire country.

About The Role

Peraton is seeking an Office Supervisor to join our team of diverse, qualified individuals. The Office Supervisor works at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Central Repair Facility (CRF) in Topeka, KS. The CRF is a depot repair facility for USPS mail processing, delivery, and bulk mail systems repairable parts. Examples: repairing printed circuit boards, electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies to component level. The CRF provides depot level maintenance for essential automation, mechanization, retail and bulk mail processing systems used in all mail processing and retail installations.

Our Office Supervisor p lans, directs, and coordinates administrative support services of the organization, such as recordkeeping, travel planning, telephone operator/receptionist, accounting, contract billing, job postings, security clearance/on-boarding activities, performance metric tracking and other office support services. Analyzes internal processes and recommends and implements procedural or policy changes to improve operations. Delegates responsibilities among the staff. Produces weekly status reports on the progress of action items and initiatives for the function. . Specific tasks include:

Coordinates job postings, security clearance paperwork, and on-boarding activities
Reviews the accounting transactions and customer billing transactions for accuracy
Assists with scheduling business travel
Maintain and prepare contract performance metrics
Trains newly assigned personnel in current methods, policies, and procedures pertinent to administrative functions
Responsible for the daily operations of a team with direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day-to-day workflow
Extensive contacts with internal personnel and provide information to employees
Performs other duties and related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

6 years experience
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Minimum of three years directly related experience with a comprehensive knowledge of administrative operations
Comprehensive knowledge of job postings and new hire activities
Experience with accounts payable
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with USPSIS clearance process
Bachelor’s degree
Proficient project management skills
Lean Six Sigma and ISO 9001 experience or training
Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Physical activity may include forklift, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, and r epetitive motion
Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment and to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures

Details

Target Salary Range: $51,000 – $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
