Duties & Responsibilities

Harris Equipment Company (HEC) is a construction equipment rentals entity based in Fresno, CA. We rent out construction equipment to project sites across Fresno County. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our team in executing the following duties and responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enter in new equipment to Point of Rental
Write contracts for requested/returned items
Print billings for review
Schedule deliveries and repairs
Keep an inventory of assets
Print and distribute final billings to the jobsites
File creation and maintenance
File paperwork for billed contracts
Write, file and send off PO’s for quoted items
Enter invoices
Enter credit card receipts
Reconcile statements from vendors
Email correspondence with vendors
File entered invoices and credit card receipts
Reconcile general ledger accounts
File paid invoices
Maintain orderly office
Assisting General Manager with projects and tasks
Market research
Customer outreach
Miscellaneous duties directed by HEC management

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to grasp technical issues and comfortable working within a changing environment
Detail Oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Computer proficiency: MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with equipment rental software: Point of Rental and construction management software: Sage 300 CRE
Excellent verbal and writing skills

Education and Experience

2-4 years office admin experience preferred
1-2 years accounting experience with an emphasis on Equipment Rental preferred
