Immediate Supervisor: Director of Human Resources

Job Summary: This position is responsible for being the front desk representative for the district, performing general clerical duties, preparing reports, maintaining records as directed, greeting and attending to the needs of the staff and public to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the Human Resources office.

Hiring Specifications:

Education

High school diploma or equivalency
2 years college or post secondary education, preferred

Certification

None required

Experience

3 years clerical or secretarial experience, preferred

Ability to recognize sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Technology Requirements

Knowledge and experience with employee records systems, preferred

Job Duties:

Serve as the Front desk secretary; provide a welcoming and professional first contact for all visitors and callers to the ESC
District Call Routing
Enters basic personnel/employment data in appropriate record keeping systems.
Maintains Substitute, Coach, and Co-op Positions
Licensure Tracking
Employment Verification
Employee/Substitute/Non-District Badges
Frontline – Substitutes
Review and Track Employee Evaluations
Performs other duties as assigned
