Job Summary
Provides administrative and clerical support to Director, Associate Dean, and Program Manager exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
Utilizes Microsoft office software applications to schedule, confirm, and manage meetings and calendars, prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, etc. promptly, courteously, and accurately.
Manages office supplies and ordering needs.
Identifies, enhances, and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the office operations to which the support is being provided.
May perform other duties related to inputting data for reporting purposes.
Acts as informal resource for colleagues with less experience; responds to more complex or escalated inquiries.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
High school diploma or equivalent such as (HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
4 years of relevant experience
SKILLS
Required
Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Working Conditions / Demands
The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Work Location
Indianapolis, Indiana
This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
