Administrative Assistant III Jobs in Sandpoint, ID at Bonner County

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Answer multi-line phone system and manage/transfer incoming calls appropriately and efficiently
Professionally greet guests/customers and direct to appropriate department
Use of credit card software to collect customer payments
Review and edit material sales tickets, reconcile cash sales
Set-up customer accounts and update pricing in system as needed
Coordinate with Sales Manager to generate sales orders
Review trucking/TPH lease sheets and maintain weekly pay period spreadsheet
Daily scale support and scale duties/coverage as needed
Update and maintain a variety of spreadsheets and electronic files on a daily/weekly basis
Process Billing Adjustments, obtain appropriate approvals, and submit for processing
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Maintain the overall office presence to include a neat and organized reception area
Assist Office Manager with special projects
Perform other duties as assigned

Work hours M-F 7:00am – 4:00pm but must have the ability to work overtime if needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent work experience required
Proven ability to perform and maintain a positive attitude and work safely
Self-motivated team player with a can-do/positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
Thorough knowledge of standard administrative support functions and standard office equipment
Proficient using database systems and Microsoft Office and Outlook, accurate data entry skills
Detail oriented
Ability to organize, multi-task, and maintain accuracy under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work independently, perform a variety of work assignments, and manage/prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with little supervision
Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, and written)
Ability to learn company policies and procedures and follow system processes
Must be able to follow directions, maintain workflow in areas of responsibility, and handle difficult situations
Ability to maintain proprietary and confidential information accordingly
Clerical experience preferred in the aggregate and construction industry, experience a plus but not necessary
Must have valid driver license and adequate transportation
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
