About The Role
The Legal Administrative Assistant at Allstate plays a vital role in supporting our Client Legal Services attorneys by providing comprehensive administrative and case management support. The primary focus of this position is on Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) and related case coordination tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high-volume scheduling, maintaining precise documentation, and ensuring strict adherence to service-level agreements with Claims partners. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong technological proficiency and the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The Legal Administrative Assistant will coordinate with attorneys, court reporters, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless case progression while maintaining complete and accurate case records.
Qualifications
- Strong typing speed and accuracy
- Proficiency with case management or task-based systems (e.g., TeamConnect)
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative under attorney direction
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously
- Experience with heavy scheduling and coordination
- Legal administrative experience, preferably in insurance defense or litigation support
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal or administrative certifications are a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Technologically proficient with MS Office Suite and other relevant software
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), including attorneys, court reporters, and involved parties
- Manage high-volume calendaring, including scheduling, rescheduling, and closing out events
- Maintain compliance with litigation management systems such as TeamConnect and other task-based platforms
- Enter, update, and manage case data, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and EUO documentation
- Prepare and track correspondence, ensuring proof of delivery for all communications
- Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation of all tasks and activities
- Ensure adherence to established processes and service-level timelines with Claims partners
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, internal stakeholders, and external parties regarding case coordination
- Provide administrative support for multiple attorneys, including scheduling and document management
- Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks
- Assist in maintaining compliance with legal and company policies and procedures
