Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD.
Job Summary:
This position will provide administrative and organizational support for a NAWCAD team located on Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The employee in this position will maintain an ongoing interface with two other administrative assistant team members to ensure effective and efficient planning and execution of duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform administrative functions such as correspondence generation, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper & electronic files, or providing information to callers
Create customer agreements, organizational statements of work, memorandums of agreements, organizational cost estimates, and briefings which are used in the analysis and management of operational effectiveness.
Perform access control functions such as verifying clearance level utilizing Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPASS) in support of classified visits
Work independently to update organization databases, such as SharePoint, to ensure all governing instructions are current and relevant
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of professional experience performing Administrative, space access control, and office tasking
Must have some experience utilizing Defense Travel System (DTS), Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), and/or Base Access Security Information Control System (Basics II)
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative experience at NAVAIR or Navy DoD environment operating NAVAIR Corporate Applications, Share Point, and other Government developed databases
Experience with Microsoft Teams applications
Clearance Requirements:
Must possess an active or current Secret security clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
