POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for efficiently coordinating the activities and operations for equipment maintenance, trucking operations, tool tracking, shop/yard shipping and receiving, and other operations support services in accordance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures for the purpose of maximizing financial and operational performance and minimizing risk. The ideal candidate for this position has a thorough understanding of construction logistics, is detail oriented, self-motivated, a team player, and has the ability to effectively communicate. The Operations Coordinator will report to the Director of Construction Operations and work closely with the Equipment Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Oversees daily operations schedule, meetings, workflow and reporting;

Assigns tasks and work orders to shop associates.

Answers and dispatches inbound project requests for maintenance, trucking, tools and equipment;

Act as key focal point for warehouse management systems, system applications and communicate system updates to team members.

Monitor and improve teams productivity

Works closely with the field to resolve issues.

Provide guidance, education, and accountability to help team stay on track, overcome obstacles, and to reach operational excellence.

Creates and maintains daily logs, schedules, and files (equipment maintenance, equipment rental, small tool tracking, asset tracking, trucking logs, annual vehicle registrations, etc.)

Categorize inventory and completes inventory tracking.

Coordinates with managers to monitor equipment rentals.

Organize and verify warehouse trucking and material delivery tickets according to submitted invoices.

Collaborates with the Facilities/Equipment Manager, Director of Construction Managements, and associates.

Works closely with executive leadership to resolve issues.

Follows all company policies and procedures.

Support operational improvement initiatives

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

QALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/GED Required

B.A./B.S. in Logistic Management, Supply Chain, or any related field.

Minimum 5 years operations administrator/coordinator experience in the construction industry preferred.
