Introduction
Prince William County is searching for a creative, talented, organized Administrative Specialist to support a staff of 35 in the Real Estate Assessments Office in Woodbridge, Virginia.
About This Role:
Under the direct guidance of a supervisor, incumbents perform a broad range of administrative support work ranging from routine to complex. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing the office budget, processing payroll, assisting with our tax relief programs, and responding to a range of inquiries from staff and the public.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of experience in customer service and administrative support

Experience leading a team
Proficiency with financial databases
Strong analytical skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Proficient with MS Office products
Ability to multitask
Experience managing a budget
Clear and concise communication skills
Ability to exercise good time management with minimal supervision
Skills to establish and maintain effective working relationship with County employees and the general public

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-4:30 or 8:30-5:00 in our Woodbridge office.
Starting Salary Range: $25.44 to $36.98 per hour, 1950 hours per year
