About us
Grady Excavating is a heavy civil construction company providing trucking and excavation services for both public and private projects in the Northwest. We are looking for an individual with office experience to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
The person in this role will provide customer service to internal and external “customers/vendors/employees.” Attention to detail is key in this role as well as maintaining a positive “Team” environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in meeting our goals: to be safe, efficient, and productive.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced changing environment.
Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
– Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed
– Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management
– Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
– Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
– Assist with office management duties as assigned
Experience:
– Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred but not required
– Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
– Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
