Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant School Administrator to support the administrative functions of our educational institution. This position is in Stone Mountain Georgia. Our staff and operations foster a positive learning environment for students and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, communications, and record-keeping
Support the development and implementation of school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with educational regulations
Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events, including managing logistics and materials
Provide administrative support to faculty and staff, including assistance with curriculum planning and resource allocation
Maintain accurate student records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity
Assist in budget management and financial reporting, including processing invoices and tracking expenditures

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in education administration or related field
2+ years of experience in administrative support roles, preferably within an educational setting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented mindset

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or a related field
Experience with student information systems and educational technology tools
Knowledge of educational policies and regulations

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

Proficiency in using database management systems for student records
Familiarity with online communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Docs, Google Drive, Microsoft Suite)
Ability to generate reports and analyze data to inform decision-making processes
