Position Title: Administrative Support Specialist
Reports to: Contract Manager

Position Summary: Aldevra is seeking a qualified Administrative Support Specialist to support the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB). The Administrative Support Specialist provides high-level administrative and clerical support to FRTIB staff on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, processing correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting with timekeeping and procurement. This role ensures efficient office operations, supports leadership with logistics and follow-up tasks, and maintains accurate documentation. The specialist must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information professionally. We will provide training, but the ideal candidate will already align with our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).
This position is contingent upon contract award.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Screen and route calls and visitors appropriately.
Compile materials and manage Director’s schedule and appointments.
Handle mail distribution and routing.
Arrange travel, meetings, and conferences.
Take and distribute meeting notes and track follow-ups.
Maintain office files, order supplies, and oversee workspace logistics.
Process purchase requests, requisitions, and timekeeping.
Support Director and office staff with administrative tasks and deliverables.
Manage electronic correspondence and update databases.
Invite survey participation and report on satisfaction metrics.
All other duties as assigned.
