Job Summary:
An Office Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the Corporate Staff. Primary duties include ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely financial reports, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of benefits, weekly payroll, accounts payable and receivable.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise bookkeeping staff (A/R and A/P)
Oversee and supervise benefit and payroll staff
Manage all benefit plans: health plans (medical, dental and vision), insurance programs, LOA and PTO programs, educational reimbursement program, etc.
Respond to escalated benefit inquiries on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, and status changes
Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
Ensure TPAs COBRA administration is accurate and complies with all applicable laws and regulations
Complete annual benefit reporting and/or audits: W2, ACA, 1099, 401K, Workers Compensation, Unemployment, etc.
Complete annual HR reporting for EEO-1, AAP, VEVRAA and Section 503
Maintain and enforce confidentiality of personal information and company data
Maintain vendor contact for payroll and benefit related activities and plan renewals
Oversee receptionist duties including visitor identification
Other Office Administration duties as assigned
Requirements:
Skills:
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in office administration and bookkeeping or accounting
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or human resource management strongly preferred
Professionally certified in Payroll or Human Resource Management a plus
Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to benefits and payroll administration
Strong understanding of human resource policies and programs as they relate to benefits and payroll
Job Detail:
Full time with benefits
Onsite position
Schedule Monday through Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Salary range 65,000-80,000
Essential Functions:
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (when required)
Sitting for long periods of time
Use of upper body, arms, and hands throughout the day
Lifting 5-10 pounds periodically
