Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Introduction

Essential Health is recruiting a full time rock star candidate to join our team in Cary, NC as a receptionist and administrative assistant. We are a well-established practice specializing in primary care, anti-aging, functional, and regenerative medicine. Essential Health is innovative and practices on the cutting edge of healthcare. We are an all-cash practice and purposefully limit our panels so each client can receive the time and attention needed. Every client is a VIP and we are seeking that special person who will be the gateway to our incredible practice. Our ideal candidate is warm and charismatic and an expert multitasker with superb attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Greet established, new, and prospective clients and make them feel right at home.
Work with team members every day to provide an exemplary client experience.
Problem solve with other team members.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner.
Actively manage the clinic schedule for multiple providers.
Help maintain professional appearance of office and organized product shelves.
Provide clients data and other reports as needed.
Explain clinic programs, pricing, payment options, and collect payments.
Prepare patient notes and assemble patient Health Assessment reports.
Serve as back up and/or provide administrative support to other staff as needed.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of work experience in a customer-facing position. Formal customer service training a plus. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills including impeccable grammar.
Experience as a medical receptionist is preferred.
Currently employees work a 4-day work week, must have the ability to work Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-5pm .
Proficient in Adobe, Teams, and Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with point-of-sale a plus.
Preference given to EMR/EHR experience.
