Who we are looking for
Circuit Media is seeking an Administrative Clerk to serve one of our federal government clients. This individual will get to work with the Bureau Of Land Management (BLM) Amarillo Field Office AmFO. The BLM AmFO manages the Federal Helium Reserve and Helium Operations. The program was set up to provide helium to federal agencies and store crude helium for future needs. The AmFO will be transitioning from a government owned to privately owned entity within the next few years. AmFO is in need of support for the remaining years. Key Responsibilities
Answering phones, taking messages, receiving visitors, providing information, and referring calls or visitors to others as appropriate.
Receiving, sorting, routing and distributing incoming mail, packages, and correspondence to staff
Maintains files and filing systems in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
Working effectively using online resources, following applicable IT policies and procedures such as security and appropriate use policies.
Formatting letters, reports, personnel forms, etc. using various types of software.
Scheduling, attending, and conducting staff meetings, as necessary.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Basic understanding of office equipment.
Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Three years of experience in a related field required
Preferred
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Five years of experience in a related field

Location: Amarillo, TX (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Term: 1 Year, with potential for extension.
Salary Range: $48,000-$55,000 annually. Dependent on relevant experience, knowledge, and performance.
