The primary purpose of the Administrative Associate is to assist the Division Director for Human Services, Child, Family, and Adult Services in carrying out the various activities in support of the mission of the Division of Social Services. Duties include providing administrative support such as scheduling meetings to accommodate multiple individuals’ schedules, ensuring availability and communication has occurred properly, composing letters, emails, and documents, arranging travel accommodations, and processing travel reimbursement.

The position also maintains various data repositories of person contact information and administrative data sources for client outcome measures. This position will close at 11:59 p.m. the night before the end date.

Skills and Abilities

/Management Preferences are not required; applicants who possess the following skills are preferred.

  • Experience in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing, ability to use correct grammar, vocabulary, spelling, ability to read and proofread written correspondence, and good working knowledge of computers and related equipment.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access are required; knowledge of Visio and Zoom is also desired.
  • Experience in providing strong customer service, organizational skills, and being detail‑oriented. Includes the ability to organize, plan, establish priorities, carry out objectives, and adhere to work plans and deadlines that maintain flexibility and modify plans when needed, as well as develop practice guidance and materials.
  • Experience or knowledge of current automated systems used to support the Division of Human Services, Child, Family and Adult Services.
