Administrative Business Associate – Days Jobs in Brooklyn, NY at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

As a Certification Department Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for processing Re-Certification/Annual Maintenance applications, supporting day-to-day functions within the Certification Department, and ensuring that responsibilities are performed to the highest standard. You will work closely with internal and external clients to provide exceptional customer service and ensure accurate processing of applications.

Essential Job Functions:

Process incoming applications, including reviewing for completeness, issuing and retrieving invoices, and ensuring all relevant documentation is placed in the appropriate files following IAPMO R&T procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding application content, invoices, and any inquiries.
Issue letters as advised by IAPMO engineering staff related to standards, test reports, or sample updates.
Support the team by backing up administrative functions in the absence of colleagues.
Process cancellations and reinstatements of files or applications due to nonpayment or modifications.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via phone, email, and in writing.
Contribute as a team player on department projects and collaborate with other departments for cross-functional initiatives.

Educational Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment.
Requires advanced proficiency in Excel, strong attention to detail, and excellent memory retention skills.
Experience with Microsoft 365 a big plus!
Customer service experience.
Solid PC skills and computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and productivity management skills.
Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.

Salary -$21-$23/hrly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
