This is a key front-desk role that goes beyond traditional reception duties, supporting facility operations through administrative, regulatory, and logistical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the professional first point of contact for all visitors, residents, families, and vendors.
Provide high-level administrative support to the Facility Administrator and interdisciplinary team.
Coordinate and issue Bed Hold Notices in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Organize and track resident transportation to appointments, ensuring timely communication with nursing and family members.
Assist with preparation and follow-up for audits, surveys, and regulatory documentation.
Support projects involving human resources, admissions, and medical records.
Maintain a clean and professional front desk area and manage incoming calls and correspondence.
Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility preferred.
Strong understanding of administrative workflows, particularly within a regulatory environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with healthcare documentation systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
