Office Coordinator, Port Angeles, Washington
When you join our team as a Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the mill operations, including human resources and the safety department.
What You’ll Do
Administrative
Greet and direct visitors and employees.
Send outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail.
Direct incoming calls.
Arrange lunches for guests, special events, and employee recognition events.
Maintain and requisition all office supplies.
Schedule conference rooms.
Maintain employee message boards.
Any other administrative tasks as assigned.
Human Resources
Coordinate employee retention and engagement activities.
Distribution of bi-weekly payroll checks to hourly staff.
Assist with reference checks.
Assist with external recruiting activities – advertising, job fairs and hiring expos etc.
Any other HR tasks as assigned.
Environmental, Health, & Safety
Assist with maintaining safety records including training records, JSAs, safe work cards, etc.
Data entry
Assist with new hire safety orientation as needed
Any other safety tasks as assigned.
What You Offer
Post-secondary education preferred (high school diploma is required).
Minimum 2-3 years of administrative experience.
Positive, proactive, detail-oriented and driven to succeed.
Effective organization, planning, implementation, and follow up skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Ability to maintain confidential information using discretion and diplomacy
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn.

What We Offer
Interfor has posted the following expected salary range that the company believes in good faith could be offered to successful candidates. The salary offered is benchmarked to current market conditions and will also be based on numerous factors which can include work experience, skills, credentials, education, and other relevant factors. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a competitive benefits package and be able to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Bonus plan, with the payout amount subject to individual and corporate performance. If you have any questions regarding our salary range or our total compensation package, our recruitment team will be happy to advise you on what you can expect from us.
Expected range: $48,000 – $53,000 (USD) per year
