Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking an Administrative Coordinator. Summary: The Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the organization. They will work closely with leadership and program teams to provide administrative support, coordinate office functions, assist with data entry and reporting, and ensure smooth communication across departments. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about serving communities in need. Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to leadership and program teams
Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and board activities
Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, reports, and correspondence
Maintain digital and physical filing systems, ensuring proper documentation
Support data entry and tracking related to housing applications, client services, and donor records
Respond to email and phone inquiries with professionalism and care
Assist with the onboarding of new employees and volunteers
Help maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate vendor services
Support grant reporting and compliance tracking as needed
Coordinate logistics for community events, fundraising initiatives, and workshops
Requirements
Background in social services would be great
Experience working with clients and case management
Strong administrative/case management skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
