Administrative Coordinator
LHH is partnering with a mission-driven national organization to identify a highly organized and proactive Administrative Coordinator for a temporary contract opportunity. This position will support a collaborative team over the next 4 months and offers primarily remote flexibility with occasional onsite presence required at the Maryland office.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping teams organized, managing administrative workflows, coordinating across departments, and ensuring projects and day-to-day operations run smoothly. The hourly pay rate ranges from $24–$28 per hour based on experience. The team is actively interviewing and anticipates onboarding in mid-to-late June.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in supporting operational processes, coordinating communications, and helping manage timelines and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating schedules, timelines, and administrative tasks across ongoing projects and programs
- Supporting communication between internal teams, vendors, sponsors, and external stakeholders
- Assisting with virtual events, educational initiatives, and sponsorship-related coordination
- Providing administrative support for grant-related activities, including information gathering and follow-up communication
- Tracking project updates, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
- Supporting contract routing, documentation, and internal workflow processes
- Assisting with customer service inquiries and stakeholder outreach as needed
- Maintaining organized records, reports, and tracking tools
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Approximately 2–4 years of professional experience in administration, operations, project support, coordination, or related functions
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
- Experience managing schedules, priorities, and multiple moving pieces simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Smartsheet experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and solutions-driven mindset
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach
