Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will perform various routine clerical duties to support the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs clerical duties as directed, to support the office staff.
Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone & voicemail systems, personal computers & other standard office equipment.
Answers phone, directs calls to appropriate individuals, prepares messages & greets visitors.
Filing, copying, scanning of documents.
Prepares packing slips, labels & other required material according to written or verbal instructions.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Clerical experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
