This position is responsible for overseeing the reception area in the Devon Corporate headquarters. This position description below in no way states or implies that these are the only duties/functions to be performed by the incumbent. Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties/functions requested by their supervisor.
Provide exceptional front-line customer service and professionalism to coordinate the flow of visitors/guests through the Devon corporate headquarters reception area.
Demonstrate problem solving ability by using good judgment and applying these skills to assist visitors/guests and ensure customer service expectations are met
A self-starter who is flexible, able to work in a large, fast pace and interactive organization
Point of contact to promote receptionist services and visitor management system within the company
Greet and announce all Devon visitors/guests
Operate Visitor Management system for registering, verifying and printing visitor badges
Maintain visitor roster and tidy reception area daily
Update and maintain receptionist procedure manual
Coordinates with all Devon receptionists to ensure receptionist manuals are consistent
Update and maintain spreadsheets for receptionist desk statistics
Provide administrative assistance and help with special projects as needed
Provide back-up to Office Services helpdesk and Corporate Services staff as needed
Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities independently or as part of a team
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
0 – 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Office Management, Administrative Support, Calendar Management or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
