Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with Finance Department: Work with the finance team, buyers, sellers, and banks to ensure that the Letter of Credit (LC) terms are clearly understood and match the sales agreement.
Check LC Terms Carefully: Review the LC to confirm details like product descriptions, shipping terms (Incoterms), required documents, and the LC’s expiry date and location.
Prepare and Submit Documents: Gather and submit necessary documents such as the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, insurance certificate (if needed), and any other documents specified in the LC.
Coordinate Shipment: Ensure that goods are shipped on time according to LC terms, and verify that the bill of lading and shipping method comply with LC requirements.
Document Submission to Bank: Send all required documents to the bank for payment processing and promptly address any questions or issues they may have.
Indent Order Management: Place orders with suppliers, send the supplier’s proforma invoice to the salesperson for review and confirmation, and submit the proforma along with the sales order for approval before confirming the order with the supplier.
Assist Sales Team: Help the sales team by documenting and submitting customer complaints to ensure they are addressed appropriately.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain
Experience: At least 1 years of experience in a similar role is advantageous
Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently under tight schedules, and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9am to 6pm Alt Sat 9am – 1pm
