1. **Communication**: Assisting in communication between drivers and dispatchers, relaying messages and updates as needed.
2. **Monitoring**: Tracking the location and status of vehicles and shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
3. **Data Entry**: Inputting and maintaining accurate records in dispatch systems, including schedules, routes, and delivery statuses.
4. **Scheduling**: Assisting in the scheduling of deliveries and pickups, ensuring optimal routes and times.
5. **Problem-Solving**: Helping to resolve issues that arise during transportation, such as delays or route changes, and communicating these to relevant parties.
6. **Customer Service**: Providing support to customers by answering inquiries and providing updates on delivery status.
7. **Documentation**: Preparing and organizing necessary paperwork for shipments, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.

Requirements:
Computer experience with Microsoft software including Excel. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Ten key experience a plus, must be able to type.
