Administrative Medical Assistant Purchasing/Clinical Support

Currently, we are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Administrative Medical Assistant for purchasing medical and office supplies, arranging equipment repairs, and assisting with medication assistance applications in our Nashua and Raymond offices. The pay range is $19.00 – $21.00 per hour.

This position requires effective written and verbal communication with co-workers, managers, representatives of public and private organizations, and others sufficient to exchange or convey information.

The candidate will take the initiative and use independent judgment within established policy and procedural guidelines to perform a variety of duties. The candidate will organize their own work, coordinate projects, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal direction.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordination of the maintenance of medical and office equipment according to maintenance schedules.

Overseeing and coordinating yearly equipment electrical checks, biomedical review of procedural equipment, and ensuring all procedures are documented.

Medical and office supply ordering and maintaining the storage area for medical and office supplies.

Maintaining lab and medication room logs and controls.

Assisting with the medication assistance program.

Assisting the Practice Managers and Nurse Managers with ongoing projects; refills, referrals, and tracking.

Qualifications:

1 to 3 years in a health or service setting.

Computer skills – preferred knowledge of Athena One, Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.

Medical Assistance/Reception or similar background preferred.
