In May 2021, China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd., has the subsidies-China Merchants Bank (Europe) S.A. in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

Organizing corporate events, meetings, and staff activities to enhance employee engagement.

Assisting expatriate employees with relocation procedures, housing, and administrative formalities.

Overseeing office operations, facility management, and administrative services to ensure an efficient working environment.

Providing support to the General Administration Department in various office management and administrative tasks.

Managing procurement processes, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and cost control.

Managing document filing, record-keeping, and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Coordinating with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth office operations.

Handling employee business travel arrangements, including visa applications, ticket bookings, and accommodations.

Ensuring compliance with local regulations regarding workplace safety, labor laws, and administrative procedures.

Assisting in internal audit and compliance checks related to administrative functions.

Qualifications

A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, French, law or a related field.

At least 2 years of relevant working experience in office administration, facility management, or corporate services, preferably in a commercial bank or financial institution.

Extensive knowledge of Luxembourg labor laws, workplace safety regulations, and procurement policies.

Fluent in English and French (spoken and written), proficiency in Chinese is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and administrative management tools.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
