DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, your main responsibility will be to offer essential assistance to the Film Production Tax Credit Program and aid the Film Commissioner of Pennsylvania in the development and growth of the state’s film industry. Your tasks will include evaluating program applications for funding recommendations, effectively communicating any legislative or regulatory changes to applicants and stakeholders, enhancing operational procedures in collaboration with the Film Commissioner, providing technical support, and implementing necessary corrective actions. Additionally, you will be involved in script reading, coverage, and analysis to contribute to the overall success of the program.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 430 PM, Monday – Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 1.or

Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor’s degree;or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

Project Management experience

Non-profit experience

Experience in grant writing, grant building, and/or grant application analysis
