THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency is looking for a creative and seasoned Administrative Officer 3 to become a part of our Grants Management Team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Your main responsibilities in this position will involve overseeing multiple Federal and State grant programs. This will include developing policies and procedures specific to each program and ensuring their smooth implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled Grant Managers to ensure the effective execution of these programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, after successful completion of a comprehensive on-site training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Schedule may vary based on activations or other needs of the operation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 2;or

Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university;or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
