Position Summary:

Conducts comprehensive analysis/reporting and coordinates a variety of assigned projects related to quality, financial outcomes, patient flow, performance improvement, patient satisfaction, etc. for Ambulatory Care. Incumbent is responsible for data management, reporting and analyses associated with the operations, productivity and performance improvement initiatives in the Ambulatory practices. Gathers, maintains, tracks, analyzes and reports data from various sources in varied formats. Makes information available to practice managers and others in Ambulatory for decisions and/or actions to improve performance. The incumbent collects and analyzes a variety of clinical and operational data in order to evaluate and report trends and volume. Summarizes data in a manner which is meaningful and allows operational decision making by leadership.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $71,300.00 Midpoint $100,000.00 Maximum $128,700.00

Required Qualifications:
Ability to act independently to solve problems and develop recommendations for approval
Ability to successfully identify priorities while managing multiple assignments simultaneously
Ability to analyze and manage budgets and make forecasts as required
Ability to manage and maintain complex calendars and schedules and navigate appointments
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Demonstrated ability to create and produce complex reports using computer programs such as Excel, Access, Word, and Powerpoint
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Previous experience creating, maintaining, and extracting information from a variety of databases
Demonstrated experience working with staff, managers, physicians and/or high-level administrative staff to accomplish established outcomes
Strong project management skills including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in progressively more complex analytical/support roles within a healthcare unit
Resourcefulness to identify and search for information that is not readily available
Strong analytical skills to collect and analyze operational data
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Preferred Qualifications:
Administrative experience in a healthcare environment
Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Experience in an academic environment
