ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONAL– Fulltime (Hilo)

Local CPA firm, Carbonaro CPAs and Management Group, in business for over 30 years and continues to grow. We have a culture that values family, work-life balance, career and personal growth.

The Administrator position is a key position that supports all divisions: Tax, Audit and Bookkeeping. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of high functioning office setting. Able to keep the office highly organized while managing client services and supporting coworkers and teams on Maui and Big Island as well as other remote workers.

We are seeking someone who is personable, detail-oriented, familiar with office technology and able to support our Team in Certified Public Accounting. This position is for a person who is able to work in a busy office which includes tax admin, general office admin, client relations and oversee the Hilo and Kona offices among other duties. Job may include traveling to our Kona office once a month and light bookkeeping. Please send us your resume.

Job Duties to include but not limited to the following:

Client management

Maintain our client database software

Receptionist duties- greeting clients, answering phones and managing inquires, etc

Tax admin- Scheduling, scanning, collating, mailing, filing of tax documents, etc

Running errands – such as post office, bank, etc

Office administrator

Light bookkeeping- such as preparing GET or Form 1099’s

Time and billing processing

Maintain office equipment and technology – postage meter, copier, computers, phones, internet, etc

Accounts Receivable- collections & deposits

Coordinate office events

Archive office documents and files

Oversee Kona office administrative needs

Make travel arrangements as needed

Marketing -as needed

Soft skill Requirements:

Be a quick learner

Critical thinking & problem solving

Self-motivated

Excellent phone and customer service skills

Skilled at Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook

People oriented, works well with others

Highly organized – detail oriented

Willingness to learn and keep up with technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
