Under the supervision of the AMH Program Supervisor and AMH Limestone County Lead Case Manager, this Administrative Professional performs assigned duties at the Limestone County AMH Regional office. This individual provides coordination for the many functions of the front desk including oversight of the front desk, answering and directing calls, and assisting and directing the needs of consumers. This staff assists with scheduling psychiatric appointments and other staff appointments when needed, as well as managing the schedule for the Telemed/Conference Room.
Conducts Financial Assessments for consumers, monitors for changes and updates ensuring all is accurate, complete, and entered into Smart Care. Performs insurance verification updates monthly and provides proper notification to the Direct Supervisor, Program Supervisor, Billing Department, and Insurance. Ensures all contact information for consumers is accurate and manages medications coming in and out of the office.
Experience and Training:
Maintain excellent customer services by professionally greeting all persons entering the building and calling the Center.
Informs appropriate staff or service areas that an individual has checked in at the front desk for their appointment.
Prepares purchase orders for specified unit and maintains standing purchase orders.
Responsible for ordering office supplies and various items as needed for the unit.
Works closely with the Accounting Department to ensure all financial transactions are approved and aid according to Center policies and procedures.
Provides extensive support to Lead CM of unit.
One year of administrative and clerical experience Required
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with managing schedules and calendars.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Complete all program support tasks assigned including making copies, spreadsheets, forms and other documents, scanning and emailing documentation, assisting with preparation of trainings, groups, and other activities as needed.
Support for Case Management staff.
Local travel 15% and regional travel 15%.
Ability to lift 15 pounds.
Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of Word/Excel/Access/Outlook/PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Medicaid and private insurance is preferred.
Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
Transports clients.
Administers medications.
Must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties.
Must have excellent time management skills and excellent organization and filing skills.

Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
Salary: $31,200 Annually $15.00 Hourly ($2,500 Regional Stipend)
