Busy contractor now hiring a professional Construction Administrative Assistant for a concrete and masonry contractor that specializes in commercial, retail and multi-family construction projects. Looking for a strong candidate with recent experience in the construction field as well as longevity with previous employers. Must be available for immediate hire.

Hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Qualifications-

2+ years experience in construction administration, job and file set up.
Must possess a strong work ethic, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Professional demeanor
Prior customer service experience and professional phone manners
Data Entry and Computer literate Microsoft Office software

General Duties: Support the Estimators in daily communications and record keeping including:

Maintain project files and completing necessary filing for accounting
Various administration tasks, typing various construction documents, document processing, filing
Scheduling appointments, making and receiving calls and communication with field staff, project managers and subcontractors
Assist Project Managers as needed with documentation and organization projects
Develop and maintain a filing system
Data entry for multiple managers
