POSITION: Human Resources Administrative Assistant (Assistant to Director of Human Resources)

LOCATION: North Franklin Educational Center – Malone

DUTIES:

Performs management functions including, but not limited to program planning, purchasing, budgeting, personnel management and supervision, fiscal management, and reporting program evaluation computing, calculating, check writing and other office machines.
Assists in professional conferences and professional development planning and organization.
Assists in collection, tabulation and analysis of financial and statistical data as well as expedite the maintenance of records and preparation of reports.
Utilizes various software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as agency data programs).
Able to oversee various projects and exercise independent judgement as needed in the Human Resources department.
Process health insurance transactions.
Coordinate agreements with health insurance vendors.
Talk with employees regarding employee benefits, FMLA, workers comp, etc.
Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Human Resources.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: Civil Service Status as an Administrative Assistant

STARTING DATE: TBD

SALARY: $45,000 – $50,000 based on experience
