Job Overview

Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing is seeking a highly organized, detailed-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Director. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our multi-site organization and will involves a variety of administrative duties.

Flexible onsite, day-time hours. Position is open until filled.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director.
Assist with HR functions, including onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance.
Support bookkeeping tasks such as expense tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
Coordinate IT support, troubleshooting, and coordination with external IT providers.
Assist with grant reporting and donor communications.
Coordinate meetings and maintain organizational records.
Support daily operations to enhance program effectiveness.

Qualifications

At least two years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative support role.
Familiar with HR recruiting, hiring, and onboarding preferred.
Commitment to the mission of serving individuals experiencing homelessness.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with QuickBooks highly desirable.
Experience with bookkeeping highly desirable.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
